Arts in CT has a wide range of Afterschool Programs

available to communities across New England  

After school programs include over 80 different classes that include:

*As of 2020 all our classes must be in a safe social distance manner, therefore there is a limit of participates based on special distance in the facility.


Now here’s an art and sport that’s sure to please! Learn technique, style, and new safe stunts that will be socially distant but not absent of fun and learning.


This hands-on class will be multifaceted with lessons on putting a pop of color to your wardrobe to designing your own clothes. Let's bring your child's fashions ideas, put them on paper, and transform them into reality!


Let’s get physical! In this class, in a socially distant fashion, students will learn how to safely jump and do introductory stunts while jumping. 

ACTING (choice of musical theater, stage play, and Shakespeare):

Cover skills in characterization, improvisation, dialects, monologue work, scene work, auditioning, script analysis, and writing by way of acting exercises and games. For Shakespearean Class - your child will cover an introductory study of Shakespeare's tragedies, comedies, histories, and sonnets.


Learn proper warm-ups and stretches combined with across-the-floor progressions and mini combinations. This class will also focus on ballet terminology and technique through the execution of barre, center, and across the floor exercises. By the end of class, your child will have a clear understanding of ballet/jazz basics, body alignment, movement quality, carriage of the upper body, and flexibility.


This class introduces your child to salsa music and the basics in technique including footwork, dance positions, and some music knowledge!

CHOIR (learning various languages):

“Mama, I want to sing!” Well, guess what?  We have a spot for you! Come learn how to sing in unison and in harmony with some of your favorite songs including Disney, pop, folk, and traditional songs from around the world!


We have many artists who are ready and willing to teach a new language through standard lessons as well as music and visual arts. 

PIANO (group classes):

In this class, students will learn to identify notes on both the piano and sheet music. They will also learn basic music theory and both traditional and nontraditional styles of playing the piano. 


This class offers hands-on projects (Like Robots!) to teach kids robotics and STEM skills.  In addition to learning robotic concepts, students dive into the basics of engineering, physics, and mathematical concepts.

EDIBLE ARTS (for beginners):

Now here is a treat! A class that can be used for toddlers, children, teens, and adults. Our chefs will be teaching you creative artistic ways to make your favorite foods and desserts.
