Gregory Maichack is a master pastelist as seen twice at Museum of Fine Arts Boston and in hundreds of libraries, museums and senior centers ( older teens, too). He travels with his 2-hour workshops in the art and use of pastels (dry, clean). Beginners to advanced participants enjoy his entertaining lecture, demo and hands-on application of pastels and leave with their own versions of masterpieces such as flowers of Georgia O'Keeffe, works of Monet, Van Gogh's Starry Night and others. You can see their pride in accomplishment in photos of them holding their successful work. He is deeply knowledgeable and kind, building on student strengths. He has his workshops down to a science and his rooms fill up with a waiting list, he's so popular. Very accomplished artist, exhibited, won nat'l awards. All materials supplied.
