I found art at a very young age and was always encouraged to create. In middle and high school I took as many art classes as I could fit into my schedule. I began my education at Gettysburg College and began to take art courses, but psychology took over a filled most of my schedule. I found myself drawn back to art my senior year taking 2 sculpture courses and winning honorable mention and 2nd place for two of my pieces in a juried exhibition at the college. I graduated in 2013 and taught preschool for 3 years, but now I find myself being drawn back to art and am currently beginning my search for Art Therapy programs to acquire my master's degree. I love helping others find joy in art and relish any opportunity to make the world a more beautiful place.
