Summer Camp for Tiny Tots
Starts July 15th
The Tiny Tots program is dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children, with a focus on socialization, education, and developmental skills. These skills are taught through games, stories, crafts, physical fitness activities, and playtime. Each weekly session will also include a parent-participation excursion to a local place of interest.
This fun class is a great way to expose your little star to the wonderful world of dance! Dancers will work on motor skills, coordination as well as a strong foundation of dance. Both Ballet & Tap shoes will be used.
Acting for Preschool
Drama is an excellent way to learn by doing! It centers the child as an active participant in the learning process instead of just a passive observer. It promotes cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development and can be used to teach a wide range of subjects.
Preschoolers enjoy singing just to be singing. They aren’t self-conscious about their ability and most are eager to let their voices roar. They like songs that repeat words and melodies, use rhythms with a definite beat, and ask them to do things. Preschool children enjoy nursery rhymes and songs about familiar things like toys, animals, play activities, and people. They also like fingerplays and nonsense rhymes with or without musical accompaniment.
At storytime, we are helping teach both children and adults about early literacy. Storytime is structured to help show parents and caregivers ways they can help their child interact with books and develop early literacy skills; it is more than simply picking a book to read.
Zumbini is an early childhood development program focused on movement and music for children ages 0 to 3 years, to attend with their music-loving (Zumba loving!) caregiver(s). ... It is child-appropriate, grown-up friendly, and of course, full of the “Zumba” flavor.
